G. A. P.

We are getting ready for a play date and this little guy...my just turned 3 in November little guy, is in the kitchen and. . .

this little guy enters wearing this shirt. Brady looks at him and says "gap. Mommy, Zach's shirt says gap". I stop what I'm doing and stare at him. I say "yes, it does."

A couple of weeks ago he told me a bottle sitting on the counter said "mist", he was right then too. So, this was enough to get my complete attention. I took out some paper and pen and wrote words like: c a t , d o g, h a t, p i g, etc. He got them all!!!

My little guy is starting to read words!! Can't I just keep him little and enjoying icing on his face from Valentine cookies??

The girls thought this was great and took out a Bob book for him to look at. He did remarkably well. He thinks it's a game...and he loves to play games.

Congratulations little guy, you never cease to amaze me!!

And, an update on Charlie. . .
he is smelling better, but for a while this is how he received any attention. Can you tell that Lindsey has a stick scratching him with it? And is still trying to keep her distance. Poor Charlie!!

  1. That's awesome! Just be careful not to go too fast or you'll have all 3 entering college at the same time! :)

  2. Way to go Brady!!! That was great...he was also sounding out words and helping read a book on Sunday...In fact he corrects Grandma quiet often when she gets in a hurry and skips a word or a page. You would think by now I would know better than to try that with any of the g-kids. Love Ya!!!
