Our Memorial Day Weekend

Started off with walks on the Creeper Trail,

On Sunday we cooked out with Grandma and Pop-Pop Taylor.

Other exciting things: bear tracks in the garden...

and flying squirrels in the garage. You know how Bruce loves his critters!

Another big thing this weekend.....Brady wearing his big boy undies. He has done amazingly well at potty training and is taking himself to the potty. He picked out his potty award at the store....a Buzz Lightyear!

And changing to a big boy bed....(sniff, sniff). He looks so little in that big bed, but he is so excited about it. Here he is sleeping in it the first night.

My little boy is growing up.....(more sniffing)....:)

Performance Day at Gymnastics

The girls got to perform all the skills they have learned at gymnastics this year. I'm surprised at all they can do, like the balance beam...

The Last Day of School

We finished our year of school and to celebrate Bruce took the girls to the church to ride their bikes. Lindsey learned to ride without her training wheels. Woo Hoo!! She did great and Bruce loved helping her learned to do it.



When the girls finished biking we headed to the park for a picnic supper and as usual, the kids loved being there.

And, to end our day of celebrating we naturally had to have ice cream from our favorite ice cream stop. Brady's cone was hugh. At least they were so exhausted it was just enough kick to get them through baths and into bed.

I'm so proud of Lindsey, learning to ride and finishing school. She did great!! We can't wait to do lots of fun things this summer!

Field Day

Lindsey and Rachel had a great time at field day. We had a picnic lunch and then lots of games. They did the sack race...

the egg and spoon race...

water balloon toss...

and lots of others. I think there was a crab walk race, which Lindsey won for her age, and the 3 legged race. They had a great time while Brady enjoyed the hugh sandbox with all the diggers. Great begginning for summer!
