Farmer Bruce

It's a bird....it's a plane....it's....Bruce playing with a new toy. Yes, Bruce is driving our neighbor's tractor to help get all the dirt back into place. He had a blast! Can you guess what new toy Bruce will be wanting someday? Thought all you PA guys would enjoy this!

Dirt, Dirt, Dirt

It seems as if we just enjoy having more dirt at our house than grass. So, today we had a trench 5 feet deep and 340 feet long dug for new geothermal lines. Tomorrow water pipes will be placed in it and now that summer is almost over maybe our air conditioning will finally work. At least the girls enjoyed playing in it for the day...

but look how cute they are all cleaned up.

Bruce took this picture of a cicada??? coming out of it's shell, pretty cool huh?

Brady is finally getting over his eye infection, one day when he wasn't feeling that well, he was loving on his big dog...and he loves to share...

...his eye infection that is. Zach has gotten to start his first antibiotics today for his eye infection. Poor little fella...his left eye is so swollen he can barely open it. But, his Aunt Nina got some smiles out of him yesterday when she and Grandma stopped by.

Thank you for "buh-buh's"

Brady loves buh-buh's (blueberry's) and when I saw him praying before he ate them, I was glad my camera was close by. He'll say "mmm buh-buh's"!!

I also caught a couple of smiles from Zach. It's amazing how a couple of these can brighten any kind of day!

Look at that big guy holding his head up!

Brady loves helping Pop-Pop, he decided they needed his assistance laying the hardwood floor today. "Bang-bang"! Good Job Brady!

Happy Birthday Pop-Pop!

Dad celebrated a birthday on Monday complete with singing and a piece of lemon cake during his lunch...

and Grandma holding the our chubby fellow...look at those cheeks!

Brady finally realized in the 90 plus degree weather that "wa-wa" was fun to play in. Now we can't keep him out of the pool...bugs, grass, clothing...it doesn't matter what's in the water or what he has on.

And Zach, continues to be a good baby, and growing fast. I keep moving up a size on diapers and he's quickly approaching the 3-6 month size in clothing. Happy 6 weeks Zachary!

Fun in the Sun

We finally had a couple of sunny days and the kids enjoyed being outside. They finally were able to play of the slip-n-slide. The girls had so much fun sliding...
and Brady had more fun playing with the screwdriver.

The highlight of Lindsey's day was to get to ride Ladybug, one of the horses in front of our house. Mrs. Karen is going to start letting her ride some.

Of course Rachel got to ride too.

And the brave hunter has been out hunting wabbits with his spear and magic helmet, except in this case it was a groundhog. My grandfather would have been proud!

Today we took the kids to the Hands On Museum. Here they're shopping in the play store...

and then to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch. They had a great day!

And we can't forget "ba-ba ach" (as Brady calls him very proudly), he's 5 weeks old today. He's growing everyday and doing great!

Zach at 4 weeks

Zachary has found his voice and loves to let us hear it every evening. He is also giving us a hint of a smile once in awhile.

Brady in the masculine princess helmet on his Pooh car...

and his cute impression of a kitty cat.

What sweet boys I have!

Our Weekend...

We had a very busy weekend with my cousin getting married and everyone coming home for the occasion. It was so nice to see everyone and the kids had a great time playing with all their cousins. One of the highlights for Brady was to sit on Mr.Worley's tractor...

and he and Rachel love to ride bikes in our garage.

Here's Kristin in her beautiful dress. Congratulations Kristin and Monty, everything was really nice and we wish you the best!

Zachary got to meet more of his cousins, Aunts and Uncles. Here's Lauren getting to hold him... and sweet little Lia loved rubbing his head. (Isn't she beautiful!)

Alex enjoying some of the wedding cake Grandma Taylor made.

My cousin Shawn with Zach...

It was a great weekend and fun to see everyone. Hope you all have a safe trip back and can't wait to see you again soon!
