Field Day

Lindsey and Rachel had a great time at field day. We had a picnic lunch and then lots of games. They did the sack race...

the egg and spoon race...

water balloon toss...

and lots of others. I think there was a crab walk race, which Lindsey won for her age, and the 3 legged race. They had a great time while Brady enjoyed the hugh sandbox with all the diggers. Great begginning for summer!

At Warrior's State Park

It was such a nice day and the sun was calling for us to be outside...so, we went to the park with friends. Here's Brady and John eating lunch.

And the girls.
Brady's sitting on Aslan. The story The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was throughout the park, complete with wardrobes full of fur coats that you travel through to "Narnia". Very neat.

Here'a the gang (with Madison and John) except Zach, who hung out in the stroller and watched. Below is Lindsey on the white stag from the story before coming back through the wardrobe. Fun, fun, fun!!!

Our Sweet Molly

Today we lost our very loyal, faithful, beautiful, obedient, sweet, lovable, always happy to see you friend. We had Molly for 10 years and today she passed away. She will be missed very much. It's not the same without her here.....
Pray for comfort for our family.
We have been loving this beautiful weather and now that my computer is working properly I can start posting pictures for you again. Here's a few to get you caught up...

Brady has been helping Daddy plant lots of trees and flowers. This is our weeping cherry tree.

The boys...

Our flowers have bloomed so pretty outside, and the boys make them look even better...

Zachy is 10 months old now....growing up fast!

Here's a little look at Bruce's hard work.....it looks great!

Hard at Work

Brady awoke from his nap to find his Daddy working on building a border for our blackberry bushes...
...so he got his drill...
and went right to work.

At times a hammer was needed too, and together they got it all done and looking great!

Rachel's 5th Birthday!

Rachel had a wonderful time at her birthday party. She wanted a "big girl bike" and to find it she and her friends had to go on a scavenger hunt...

the final clue led her to Daddy's truck.

Our friends Steve and Shelley were involved the clue was "he's a Dentist" and they had to discover who it was and then Steve would give them the next clue. Almost everyone was involved...

...even Brady got to be a clue. It was a lot of fun and the kids were running all over the yard. Bruce had it all planned out.

Rachel received lots of presents and she loved them all. She got the new Barbie movie...

...and the Princess and the Frog movie, along with matching nightgown and a Frog shirt.

She had lots of other great gifts: games, puzzles, princess Polly pockets, Barbies, a Webkinz, etc. Thanks to everyone who gave her such great things!

Blowing out her candles...
...and Grandma stealing kisses from Zach.

We also had an Easter egg hunt and guess who found the grand prize egg...

...Brady! Oh well, at least he'll love the ring pop inside!

Grandma Taylor out did herself again this year with another beautiful cake! Rachel loved it being decorated with Cinderella toys she could keep and play with. Thanks Grandma...it was great!

Rachel received some early packages in the mail she loved also...

...she's been celebrating all week! She always looks forward to presents in the mail!

And these were so cute of Zach I couldn't resist sharing them. He loves playing with this Elmo tool bench. I'll be in the kitchen and hear Elmo start to sing...then I hear Zach laughing and laughing. So cute!
Thanks again to everyone for helping us celebrate Rachel. She's so beautiful and we are so thankful for her. You all made her birthday very special!

Celebrating Easter

Baskets are filled...

and dressing up is fun...

(When Brady saw the girls in their dresses he told them, "you look like Cindellellas", and they did. )

But, remembering the real reason for celebrating Easter is what it's all about. Thank you Jesus for loving us. We are so thankful!
